The language is both crass and truthful, and the story is for the ones telling it and the ones who can read it (in Gaelic); Ó Cadhain's "own people."

I've recently been hearing rumblings about the harmful effects of consuming "Deadly Nightshade" plants. The Nightshade Family includes tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and other fruits and vegetables common in diets around the world.
